Radio 93.8 Live Interview

Since my retirement, I have not been waking up at 6.15 am, I am still not a morning person. However that day was special as I was meeting André Ahchak at 7am in the Media Corp radio studio where I had a wonderful chat for half an hour. I recollected all my fond memories of the interesting places in Changi Village. The Angsana trees in front of our shophouse, the hunted old Changi Hospital, the Bristish Royal Air-force Airfield, the stone bridge, and of course the mangrove swamp and all the wildlife.

Andre is a regular visitor to Changi Village, and he loves the Nasi Lamark at the Changi Village hawker stall, just like so many of us.

ST - Pg B6 - Aug 12 '13 - New chapter for wildlife company's former chief

Spent a lovely afternoon in my garden talking to Melissa Lin, a young and bright reporter. It is wonderful that I have finally published my dream project – A graphic novel. I love to write and draw, but when I write, I feel the words are missing. When I draw, I feel the pictures are missing. There is really no better way to express myself than a graphic novel. And what better topic than my childhood in Changi Village – a charming old town in the 1950’s.
